Messalonskee High School’s YES Program NAILS IT

Hammond Lumber Company Messalonskee High School Bird House Workshop

Hammond Lumber Company recently participated in Messalonskee High School’s Year-End Studies program called YES. Patrick Wrigley & Al Feather (from the Belgrade store) taught an activity on hammering and the students built chick-a-dee bird boxes. Everybody learned hammering techniques and the proper use and selection of the right hammer to do your job. The students and teachers really enjoyed the class!

There are 40 happy chick-a dee’s in the Oakland area!
