Rod Wiles is the Vice President of Human Resources and has been with the company for 37 years. Rod oversees human resources activities, including employee recruitment and onboarding, company policies and procedures, and talent development. In addition to the variety of roles he has held at Hammond, Rod became a Board member of the Retail Lumber Dealers Association of Maine (RLDAM) in 2007. Since then, he has served on the RLDAM Legislative Committee, Safety Committee, and as RLDAM President (2013-2014); he currently chairs the Legislative Committee. He has also served on the Northeastern Retail Lumber Association (NRLA) Board of Directors, Executive Committee (serving as Chairperson in 2019), Nominating Committee, and Membership Committee. Presently he serves on their Safety Committee, Convention Committee and LBMDF Board. He is also an inaugural board member of the Federal Legislative Committee for the newly formed American Building Material Alliance (ABMA).
Rod has 3 children and 8 grandchildren and lives in Skowhegan with his wife Lori.
