We have been honored with several prestigious Safety Awards from the National Safety Council for 2023, a testament to our unwavering commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment across all our locations.
Occupational Excellence Achievement Awards
We are excited to share that all 22 of our locations have earned the 2023 Occupational Excellence Achievement Awards. This accolade is awarded to locations that have achieved zero fatalities and maintained a lost workday case incidence rate equal to or less than 50% of the Bureau of Labor Standards rate throughout the 2023 calendar year. In recognition of this achievement, we received certificates for each location to proudly display within their branches.
National Safety Council Industry Leader Award
Our dedication to safety has also put all 22 locations in the running for the National Safety Council Industry Leader Award. This prestigious award highlights the top companies in each industry that exemplify outstanding safety performance. We eagerly await the results and are proud of our teams commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Safety Leadership Awards
In addition to these achievements, our Bucksport, Greenville, and Rockland locations have qualified for the Safety Leadership Award. This award is given to branches that have demonstrated exceptional safety performance by maintaining zero fatalities and zero injuries or illnesses involving days away from work for a consecutive five-year period. These locations will soon receive the following plaques to commemorate their outstanding safety records.
- Bucksport has achieved 67 consecutive months without a lost time injury as of the end of 2023.
- Greenville has achieved 61 consecutive months without a lost time injury as of the end of 2023.
- Rockland has achieved an impressive 86 consecutive months without a lost time injury as of the end of 2023.
