Over 100 members of the Hammond Lumber Company team traveled to the Lumber and Building Material Expo and participated in a series of vendor tours designed to strengthen partnerships, explore new products, and gain behind-the-scenes insight into the manufacturing processes that support our customers every day.
Trips like this are an important part of our ongoing commitment to education, collaboration, and staying current with industry innovations. By spending time directly with our vendor partners, our team is able to bring back valuable knowledge that helps improve service, product selection, and support for builders, contractors, and homeowners throughout Maine and New Hampshire.
LBM Expo: Education, Innovation, and Industry Insight
The LBM Expo provided an opportunity to connect with vendors from across the northeast while exploring new products, technologies, and trends shaping the building materials industry. From product demonstrations to educational sessions, the event offered valuable insight into where the industry is heading and how Hammond Lumber Company can continue to evolve alongside it.

Bringing Value Back Home
Seeing products at the source and engaging directly with vendor teams helps our staff better understand the materials we supply and the challenges our partners solve every day. These experiences translate into stronger product knowledge, better coordination, and improved support for our customers back home.
We’re grateful to our vendor partners for opening their doors, sharing their expertise, and continuing to work closely with Hammond Lumber Company. Trips like these reinforce the relationships that allow us to deliver dependable materials, trusted brands, and knowledgeable service across all our locations.
We look forward to applying what we learned and continuing to build strong partnerships throughout the building materials industry.
