Rod Wiles

Vice President of Human Resources

Rod Wiles serves as the Vice President of Human Resources at Hammond, where he has dedicated 40 years to the company. In his current role, Rod oversees all human resources functions, including employee recruitment and onboarding, company policies and procedures, and talent development across the organization.

Beyond his work at Hammond, Rod has been deeply involved in industry leadership at the state, regional, and national levels. He joined the Retail Lumber Dealers Association of Maine (RLDAM) Board in 2007, later serving on the Legislative Committee, Safety Committee, and as RLDAM President (2013–2014). He continues to chair the Legislative Committee today.

Rod has also held numerous roles within the Northeastern Retail Lumber Association (NRLA), including service on the Board of Directors, Executive Committee (Chairperson in 2019), Nominating Committee, and Membership Committee. He currently serves on the Safety Committee, Convention Committee, and the LBMDF Board.

At the national level, Rod is an inaugural board member of the Federal Legislative Committee for the newly formed American Building Material Alliance (ABMA), where he serves as Chair.

Rod lives in Skowhegan with his wife, Lori. They have three children and nine grandchildren.
